INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 lb lean ground beef, turkey, cubed cooked roast beef or chicken
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
3 tblsp chili powder
2 tsp minced garlic
1 bay leaf
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tsp cummin
1 (14.5 oz) can peeled and diced tomatoes or chop your own with your Vita Mix
2 cans organic chilibeans or 1 can each of organic pinto, kidney & black beans
1 cup organic spaghetti sauce
1 cup organic salsa

DIRECTIONS
1. In a large saucepan or stockpot, cook ground beef or ground turkey, onion & red pepper. Drain excess fat.

2. Stir in the cummin, chili flakes, chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, diced tomatoes, salsa & spaghetti sauce. Lower heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in the beans just before serving and heat through.
